"It will give you wings"

The other day we were at the store and Ian ran up to me and said, "Mommy come here. We have to buy this stuff." He dragged me down to the end of the aisle to show me some Red Bull energy drinks. "Mommy, this will give me wings. I want wings so I can fly. Please, mommy get me some." Well, talk about effective advertising, although I am guessing their target audience was not a 4 year old who wants to be a super-hero when he grows up.

Ben is always saying things from TV! He can remember anything! That is so cute that he really thought he could get wings! Crazy what they retain in their cute little heads, huh?

Doesn't that kill you? My kids are always telling me about the cool stuff I can order off the infomercials. :)

ha, that is so funny. I never thought of a kid actually misinterpreting that. When Maya was a ladybug for Halloween, she asked me how she is supposed to fly. She thought the costume would make her fly. She was pretty disappointed.
